Hello! My name is Madeline, and welcome!
When I was four years old, I came home from preschool and told my mom I wanted to learn how to read. I haven’t stopped since. Words and stories have become an integral part of my practice, and much of my work revolves around narratives and stories, and objects and artifacts.
I graduated in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a double major in Studio Arts and Art History, as well as a Creative Writing Certificate.
In fall of 2024, I began a Master of Fine Arts program in Printmaking at Ohio University. I expect to graduate in May 2027.
While my primary media is printmaking, I tend to consider myself more of a storyteller.
My current research involves looking at the intersection between image, text, and object.
